The Atlantic Pilotage Authority recognizes the importance of the privacy of personal information. We will only collect the minimum amount of personal information required for the purpose. We will only use personal information for the specific purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legislation, or with consent. We will hold all personal information secure and confidential, and will only disclose it to a third party with express consent or as required by law.
Any privacy inquiries or concerns regarding personal information collected, used, or disclosed by the Atlantic Pilotage Authority, or requests for a copy of our Privacy Policy, may be directed to the APA ATIP Coordinator at [email protected].
Pilotage & Other Charges
The Pilotage Act requires that pilotage tariffs be fixed at a level that permits the Authority to operate on a self-sustaining financial basis, and that the tariffs set be fair and reasonable. The goal is to have each area become financially self-sufficient to eliminate cross-subsidization among ports.
